My Other Half
I'll tell my story in a hushed toneso that my ears won't hear it.
I'll take advantage that my heart
now sleeps through everything.
I was always a very normal girl.
one of those that are very forgettable.
But you made me special,
I want to go where you have gone.
I doubt it's later than three o'clock
and I fell asleep, tired of waiting for you.
In my mind, I thought of a reason
to accuse you of.
Until suddenly I heard
my father's voice behind the door,
'I can't do it, you tell her'
and my light was turned off and...
