Quitting You
The shattering rain pat on the window sill at night
Like it’s telling a heartbreaking story
We used to rely on each other
But those days are gone with the wind
I thought happiness would arrive sooner or later
But what I received was nothing but sadness
Time has exhausted my patience
Only debris of memory is left when the dream is over
It turns out reality doesn’t care how hard it is to love
I can only say it’s so easy to betray
I always thought I could turn things around
But they all ended up in broken hearts
It turns out promises don’t care how hard it is to love
I’m left here alone to mourn for the past
Looking at the remaining stars get chased away by clouds
Quitting you, quitting you, quitting you, embrace loneliness
I thought happiness would arrive sooner or later
But what I received was nothing but sadness
Time has exhausted my patience
Only debris of memory is left when the dream is over
It turns out reality doesn’t care how hard it is to love
I can only say it’s so easy to betray
I always thought I could turn things around
But they all ended up in broken hearts
It turns out promises don’t care how hard it is to love
I’m left here alone to mourn for the past
Looking at the remaining stars get chased away by clouds
Quitting you, quitting you, quitting you, that’s the brave thing to do
Dwell on it
Or act delusional
How could the one forced to leave respond?

No Longer Have You
Walking on the roads without you
Even the sunshine is no longer warm
Flowers without petals, oceans without fish
Without you, how can I be strong?
You said you wanted to paint.
Yet somehow your tears wouldn’t stop flowing
Happiness is fading away, things didn’t turn out the way you expected them to
It’s my fault for constantly hurting you
I know that from now on, I will no longer have you
It’s clearly daytime but feels like the night, I can’t breathe
I should have left quietly
so that I didn’t have to tell you everything out loud
Someday, you will understand
I know that from now on, I will no longer have you
Perhaps this is the best distance between us
As I watch you slowly walk away,
I finally dared to turn around and cry
And then I realize I no longer have you
Walking on the roads without you
Even the sunshine is no longer warm
Flowers without petals, oceans without fish
Without you, how can I be strong?
You said you wanted to paint.
Yet somehow your tears wouldn’t stop flowing
Happiness is fading away, things didn’t turn out the way you expected them to
It’s my fault for constantly hurting you
I know that from now on, I will no longer have you
It’s clearly daytime but feels like the night, I can’t breathe
I should have left quietly
so that I didn’t have to tell you everything out loud
Someday, you will understand
I know that from now on, I will no longer have you
Perhaps this is the best distance between us
As I watch you slowly walk away,
I finally dared to turn around and cry
And then I realize I no longer have you
