Rivers

Rivers! Rivers!
I want to depart, too
To go and reach the sea
To become a fish, to become a fish

I want to go where water is everywhere
So no soul can hurt me
I want a thousand vortexes around me
A thousand vortexes around me

Rivers! Rivers!
I want to depart, too
To go and reach the sea
To become a fish, to become a fish

I will no longer surrender my destiny to tomorrows
I will no longer let my heart be fooled by dreams
I want to wipe this dust off of my body
I want to burry my dusty memories

Only the waves know the story of my moving on,
Only the waves
Only the bubbles know when I burst into tears,
Only the bubbles

Rivers! Rivers!
I want to depart, too
To go and reach the sea
To become a fish, to become a fish
Rivers! Rivers!
I want to depart, too
To go and reach the sea
To become a fish, to become a fish

I’m bitter

On the way back home with the dusk falling into a color of deep red
I kicked the stones on the ground as my eyes kept welling up with tears
Surely no-one would notice
Even if, for example, I were to be gone tomorrow

And so, I bid them farewell
And as expected each and every one of them pretends to not notice
The withered chrysanthemums stain the desk
As someone laughed in the corner of the classroom

I’m bitter without being able to say it to anyone
I’m bitter I don’t have a place where I can feel at ease or even anywhere to take refuge
Let’s play? Don’t look at me with those cold eyes
Because even if you beat me up I’ll endure it

You pretend like you can’t hear them whispering,
Gouging out an open wound that’s throbbing with pain
There are as many smiling faces as there are bruises
Teacher, will you praise me?

The blue sky that could be seen from the classroom window,
That was the only friend I had
I’m sorry
I took the weak way out
I’m lonely

I’m bitter I was able to get away from the pain, but
I’m bitter I remained in solitude
I’m envious I should’ve lived strongly if I had the courage to die

Ah, goodbye

Perpetrators, let’s play!
