Who wanders on the road? Who rides on a donkey?The ground is covered with clothes, leaves and branches.
The mason-rabbi has started a journey,
He has mounted his steed, but he's a king anyways.
You'll see no crown, no sceptre.
The powerful people are elsewhere, in their great halls.
The son of man follows his path to a great city.
The favour of hundreds is already turning into accusations.
Humility and silence are the secret of your power,
You do not wish to rule by power or violence.
Strengthen our faith, bring light to our path.
Lead us to a rich life, to peace and goodness.
Jesus, our lord, we wish to follow you,
walk forwards with us, together, alone.

Our king, come to us now, fulfil our wishes.
