Stubborn
They pinned my name tag and lifted my collarThey spit on the road behind the aviary fences
That I don't fit in this age according to them
That it rains first in the Gobi Desert.
Supposedly I don't have features of a lady and the grace of a doe
I don't beg for dainties from their wet palms,
I have a reputation as a storm from the Danube taxes
And speech now straight like the miners of the mines.
I don't steal, I don't lie and I stand straight
I'm quite afraid of those too cheerful ones
Plane family tree, outlaw reputation
I only dance when I want to dance.
'God, be kind to us stubborn.'
'God, be kind to us stubborn.'
'God, be kind to us stubborn.'
'God, be kind'
Dr. Breier gave me therapy
He pushed my chair more onto the loggia
He munched under his mustache: 'VoluntaS Dei'
And he put a few orchids in the window.
They pinned my name tag and lifted my collar
Looking behind the aviary fences
So it seemed to me, in the distance, as if
It flashed briefly at the Goni Desert.
