Fishermen
We leave, not knowing where to
With the moon and songs of seagulls
Who follow traces, looking for a fish or two
But often only get hit (by gusts of wind)
There is a link between us and the sea
That no one could explain to us
A similar destiny that makes us believe
That we have a 'where', a 'why'
Fishermen, alone on the sea
Each one with his own thoughts
Hidden within them, the simple prayers
To see their sons with them
To see their sons with them

Beauty Has Passed By
Beauty has passed by, it dazzled whole of me
It had put a spell on me like a half a glass of white vine
She passed by and touched and turned around everything -
Blooming capers, church clocks
Her steps echo and everything talks of her
Tying ropes and pillars, palm trees, mulberries, pines
And when she passes the boardwalk, let everything dance
Up there and the balconies, the sun at the of stairs
God, give me eyes to see her again
To earn at least a bit of her beauty
Time that crashes us, throws sand in our eyes
Beauty has passed by, mine will pass too
You lurking light, glow from her skies
Let her pass again without me blushing
But to stand in front of her, in front of the old square
Like a ship in the wind and a flower in a pot
God, give me eyes to see her again
To earn at least a bit of her beauty
Time that crashes us, throws sand in our eyes
Beauty has passed by, mine will pass too
Beauty has passed by, mine will pass too
